Part of an ongoing study abroad collection, this mini series (and those to proceed) categorise memories from across Europe based on patterns of encounters with objects and the surrounding environment.

In these pieces, vehicles symbolise the perpetual state of movement and discovery within cities and between countries. For each overnight excursion, the city became a temporary dwelling place, blurring the distinction between traveller and resident.

Each scene is reminiscent of a greater experience and time past. Whether visiting for the weekend or staying for a few months, the ever-shifting traffic becomes a living element in the transient nature of a life in transit.
